Waist is measured at the smallest part of your waist.
Seat is measured around the widest part of your butt.

Love these pants! I have several pant styles from Residus and they are all the most comfortable and flattering pants I own. This one has a wider leg, and even though the material is a slightly stretchy but structured knitted material, you are able to create a front pleat that gives the look of a woven material and an even more tailored look. I wore them to a wedding and stayed comfortable and chic through the entire event. If you want no fuss trousers, perfect for work or play, these (and all of Residus’ pants) are it!
