PRODUCTION AND MATERIAL

RESPONSIBLE EUROPEAN PRODUCTION

MADE CLOSE TO HOME

The factory who assemble our garments and the mills who developed the fabric are always located in Europe. That means factories with strong worker unions and carefully controlled chemical processes operating under both REACH regulation and OEKO-TEX certification. Furthermore it means that the garment has not been flown around the globe but transported over a short distance on efficiently stocked trucks.

OUR SUSTAINABLE AND CERTIFIED FIBERS

An estimated 80% of the environmental strain of a garment comes from producing the fabric. At RESIDUS we are always on the hunt for high quality leftovers. Hence, reducing our ecological footprint and actively reducing industry waste products with each of our beautiful surplus designs

Its natural production process sustains the health of all ecosystems and people involved. Our organic cotton fabrics are always GOTS certified.

GOTLAND SHEEP WOOL

The Swedish sheep industry throws away a thousand tons of wool each year due to the fact that no one makes use of the fiber. At RESIDUS we are always on the hunt for high quality leftover! Our Gotland Wool project is created to make use of some of the beautiful Gotland Sheep wool that would otherwise go to waste. Cut on Swedish farms, spun in Denmark and knitted in Latvia.
